Re: Hair Cutting
Ive been cutting hair for about 15 years. I was a poor boy with poor friends. Guys hair is fairly easy to cut, and my mom and aunt both were certified stylists which helped. Then When I was in the military, those skills came in handy(seeing that we had to have a fresh cut weekly.)
Of all the things that helped me learn. When you do get it cut by someone with experience. Dont wander your mind around and hold deep conversations with the person doing your hair, pay attention to how the stylist is doing your hair in complete detail. You will learn a lot from watching.
Also when you start cutting on your own, dont cut it as short as the person wants it. Babysteps, babysteps, babysteps. Its very easy to cut hair, but unless you give yourself time to grasp technique, you'll screw up.
Im not an expert by any means, but if I can give some kind of advise that might help, why not.
