I have long mostly straight hair and I let DH cut it for me, he did pretty good, nice and straight accross the back, but it is down to my knees so the poor guy has to sit on the floor to do it
. But from a pnytail it wouldn't be straight...it would be sortof layered, I could only hope it would be nice and even...Mayby your pony tail is different from mine.

Is there a scientific time frame for how often to cut? other than looking for split ends I never know when long hair needs to be cut....
