yeah thats about the extent of the choice here too, the walmarts around here don't sell real groceries either, but back home in pgh they do and were generally cheaper. Giant eagle used to have a card, it was cool, they did of course track what you bought, but they sent coupons for stuff that you bought, and tracked the annual free turkey/ham and then mailed you a coupon for it. You didn't have to keep reciepts yourself or anything. Not sure if they still do that or not.
