well, my original post was more of a lark than anything else. I didn't expect to be taken seriously. :-)
However, correct me if I am wrong, but if the CC companies mailed out more mail, that is more profit to the USPS? (who is $2bn in debt).
Granted, the more the CC companies mail, the more they charge their customers...but, that doesn't hurt me because I am about to be CC-debt free. :-)
Maybe one day, when CC companies are charging 57%, giving back 3% in "rewards", and changing laws to help them get richer, Americans will wake up and say no more.
I know I did.
