I agree. I never borrow money using credit cards (don't have any loans right now for that matter). Credit card companies pay ME through cash back offers as I pay my bills in full every month. Credit cards are excellent if you do this. One of the cards I have is the Citi Dividend Platinum Select Mastercard. Excellent cash back.

Oh and I chose to opt out of credit card offers, so I definately don't feel bad for not getting any in the mail!
