Look at it this way, you can brag for years about the great deal that allowed you to *save* $1500.
And don't feel bad about your $100 coat. I once paid $50 for a pair of dress shoes and was almost physically sick at the extravagance. Twenty-five years later I'm still wearing those shoes on special occasions. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.
