I understand more clearly now. I think it's great that you are able to do that.
Besides the barter idea, you may also consider putting some items in a box that, once filled, you could donate to a women's shelter or some such organization/facility. You may even be able to take a tax write-off, though that isn't specifically the reason I suggested this.
