i can't really help because we mostly got money, which is the standard for our area...we're young and saving for a home in a high COL place.... still, money doesn't buy everything... i'm sure something sentimental would be very nice... i actually love the idea of the framed invite... i handmade my invites and it would have been so sweet to see that someone noticed and cared enough to keep it and preserve it for me like that... it's kind of sad thinking that everybody just threw them out after my weeks of labor...
one thing that i really liked having after our wedding were the little name/seating cards i made... i had everybody sign the back and asked them to put a message on the back... not everybody did but i loved the ones i got... especially the ones that made me smile or laugh... like the one from my little cousin where she drew a picture of us... so cute...
something funny is always great too...
if she doesn't need money and you are already giving her a weekend away then maybe something else like food.... everybody loves food.... or a gift certificate for a romantic dinner out?... sorry i dont' really have too many ideas... good luck...
