If you can wear slacks I used to buy the knee highs @ Wal-Mart that are in the bubble gum machiene balls for .33 ea. Then when they finally had a hole or run I'd save them for spare lint traps on my washer. I always got my monies worth on them.

I also try to buy my hose bigger since I was always on the boarder of being one size or another.

Lane Bryant also has some nice hose & they are very durable. Unless I brushed up against something, I almost never got a snag in mine.
