I'm curious to know what they were planning on doing when it came time to "have" the babies -- were they going to let everyone know they were lying or were they going to pretend the babies died? If it's a close-knit community I'm sure word would get out that they weren't going to the doctor on a regular basis, especially with multiple babies.
