I've been a research assistant, resident counselor and currently a preschool teacher. My goal is to get my master's in School Psychology and become a School Psychologist. When the time comes to have kids I plan on staying home until they are school age, then the job is perfect for being a parent because you have the same hours your kids do. If I didn't go back to work once children were school-aged, I'd lose my mind. I'd have to get involved with all the PTA, girl scout/boy scout stuff or I'd be so bored at home by myself from 8-4.
