I recently traded cars also! I have been saving up for a new used car, when my old car could no longer be repaired with new auto parts, as the Auto Transmission was going in it. I couldn’t buy a new one below the resale value of the old car and it would have been a used one too! So last week I bought my second car, 2004 Accent for cash with below 14000 KM on the gauge.
Not bad, since I bought my first new car for cash also in 1983. As for auto insurance, I am paying about $56 more than my old car per year and the value of the cars is a lot different by thousands.
