We recently traded cars. I've been saving money in our boring old savings account and we put down a decent downpayment from our savings. Between that and our trade in, and the fact we've done business with the credit union in the past, they voluntarily shaved off .2% the interest rate and they were already the cheapest in town. I wish it was because it was something I truly did, but I think it's great we got this deal. Maybe other readers can ask for this when trading.
