i pay for water, mine is county water, there is also city water, which has that weird taste to me, same as the water in sarnia visiting family. i think its the additives to kill the germs myself. they told me if you put some in the fridge for a few days the taste is gone. i bought a coke up there and it was nasty! nothing like what im used to here, but im sure thats the same for them, to me it tasted like watered down pepsi, i bet they would gag on our coke.lol why not buy a new and cheap coffee machine, use a filter and put it thru there and then put in a bottle and put in fridge, i think if its not ever used for coffee, then that should work and prolly the cheapest way. you can get like 250 filters at the dollar store. i too have it on my fridge, so im lucky that way.
