That's the thing. I won't not share, but I'll dole it out. If I eat it, they'll eat some (unless it's a midnight snack thing). But I remember being a teen, if I had unlimited access to it, I'd eat it all (we're talking whole boxes of little debbies). I guess part of it was that I didn't know for sure he was buying more and was just hiding the rest. But I think it was because he did share with me, he just didn't share all at once.

I hope my kids will have more self control than I did (I'm sooo lucky my metabolism was so fast in HS), but if they don't, I'll do what my dad did.
I would say no they didn't share, but then I find that hard to believe.. ...
doling out is helping with self control, different from hiding really.
