Would everyone eat/enjoy a crock pot meal?? This would be something that could be ready whenever people got there to eat, including different schedules?
Small appliances are supposed to use less power than ovens & stoves.....
Remember to use lids on all pans when cooking, goes way faster......
What a gift your in laws are giving you both.
