All good tips...I saved a TON at Wal-Mart this week on clearance clothes. I save even more by using my husbands tips!!! Here they are:
1. Find what you want at ANY store. Find any minute flaw (zipper sticks, snag, small spot, runs smaller/larger than tagged, missing button, etc.) and ask for discount. This works even on clearance items! This is especially great for floor model items and "last one, no box". Sounds cheap, but it works. He's gotten discounts on items just for SIMPLY ASKING!
2. Ask if they price match or take competitor coupons
3. PERSONAL FAVORITE!!! If you do online auctions, purposely MISSPELL the item you are looking for and check out those listings!!! For instance, I was looking for some denim jeans on eBay and typed in (on purpose) "demin". Several listings came up and I won 3 pair of jeans for .05 each because they didn't spell DENIM right!!! People misspell all the time, especially when they do multiple listings...spell check isn't an option. This works on EVERY item! Here are some current misspelled item links on ebay, just so you see how true it is!!!
