september is when cars come out, so i would think end of august would be your best time? i know theres tons of sales on tv ads when my kids start back to school and thats around the 3rd week of august. most car companys have an a and b plan, same discount different filing. im a b plan on gm. im a step daughter of a gm employee. im entitled as if i were his daughter, but i file a different paper. jake is a dependant of a grandparent at fords, i forgot what they call thier plan, but jake is eligable for ford discounts. but he is blood related so its a different form. so basically is blood not blood, but related non the less, that gm paper includes everyone, my kids are all eligable too. i believe it even includes cousins and all that, i would check with anyone u know that works for the company or a sub of it also. i worked at rubber enterprises in michigan and we were entitled to gm benifits, we were a sub of gm. in 96 i had bought a new cavalier at ross moody in lapeer, ended up only being like 6,000 and it went to murphys for a stereo of my choice off a list of choices and a full tank of gas. the car started out at 10 g's too. i had never bought a new car before and that was a discount also. first time buyers discount, i knew the guy at ross moody too, he was a neighbor. knowing someone that works at a dealership is good also, cause if you have a genuine connection with them, they wont be trying to sell u something you cant afford and get ur best price. i walked out with a 4 g discount in all and a pick of stereo and full tank which was important also at the time, prem was over 2 a gallon and purchases were limited to 5 gallons. i seen alot of motorcycles during that time. like 2 1/2 gallon fill up and it lasted all week.lol.
