I'm clearing out items that I have been keeping in the hopes that they might be useful someday. They haven't been useful for over 3 years, so I figure, they aren't worth the space in my house.

While you may not get a huge income, you can definitely put the money towards another goal. I'm hoping to fund Christmas this year with the results of my house clearance.
Plus it helps to clean the house
