I'm with Aquila in Minnnesota and they were charging (at the last bill -- another will being coming very soon) $1.28/ Therm (Google says 1 Therm = 100,000 btu, so maybe you meant therm?) plus a $6.50 customer charge. Evidently there is no state tax. We keep the house at 64ish during the day and 58ish at night. (I say "ish" because sometimes we cheat.) We also use natural gas for hot water, oven, stove, and dryer. We're not super frugal with those things. Dh and I both take showers every day, I use the dryer, dishwasher, etc. We pay the same every month, but I expect the "real" bill this month with be about $180.
