Time at college is a great time to start making extra money.

A part time job is OK but better I think to start a little business.

Many big companies have been started by college students...Microsoft, Dell, Two Guys and a Truck, Got Junk are some examples I think.

Got a truck?..Got a friend?...strong backs? You've got a small business.

Sure there are laws and rules and regulations that you should follow but starting when you are young is an incredible advantage.

I took my bachelors in finance and started a carpet cleaning business. I'm sure my parents were very proud! :-)

Many times people said to me, I wish I had started something like this at your age. But before they knew it they were married at a mortgage, children, and car payments.

The small business does not need to be your career but you just never know. It could turn into something big or you could sell it to a younger college student when you graduate.

Good luck.
