Do you need to hire a contractor even for repairs or routine service on the equipment? If that's the case, find another certified contractor in your area. Contact the company if you can't locate one. I would think they could provide a list. In fact, I would contact them to alert them to the problem with the guy who did your installation. They may be able to pressure him to come back and finish the job or lose the right to handle their systems.
