I (the woman) handle the money almost completely -- which has lead to our current problems. I'm not good at "rocking the boat." and have a difficult time telling someone things are not as "rosey" as they might think.

Example: My hubby works so hard, it's really hard (nearly impossible) for me to say, "Sorry, there's no money for that." when he wants to do something special. How can someone who works that hard have no money??? It's just so hard to understand.
