Instead of throwing out a old boxspring that no one wanted, I broke it apart because it wouldn't fit in my car to go to the dump. Then realized I could use the wood slats inside of it to make a trellis for my grapes and tomatoes.
So I didn't have to pay the dump (ok just a little for the fabric part) and I didn't need to buy wood for trellis.
