I've taken the bus from DC to NYC and from NYC to Boston several times. The Chinatown buses are okay, but IMO aren't as nice as some of the newer bus lines like Bolt Bus and Megabus. The newer ones just seem cleaner and safer to me. Just my 2 cents.
