We just moved here a year ago, and that was a 750 mile move. I got rid of soooo much stuff then. I have some kids clothes to get rid of now, but for the most part, we've been careful about what we bring into the house. I do have a non-working TV I need to get rid of - any ideas other than trash?

DH just won't go for a moving company. We really should be able to do it ourselves, most of it is pretty easy to move. We just have the appliances and beds, dining room table, futon couch, and my craft chest (which was really heavy empty and it isn't empty now). We also have a dolly - best $20 we ever spent - we bought it 10 years ago and it's still going strong. Everyone should have one - even if it's just used to move pots around in the yard/patio.
