I pick up most 'nasty stuff' with newspaper. I don't buy newspaper but the local newspaper keeps on delivering samples to see if I'll subscribe.
I do own plastic silverware as part of my hurricane preparedness (FL) , but I think they are from 4 years ago.
My next step is to switch to cloth diapers, especially now with a second baby on his/her way...
I use swiffers for dusting, I don't know how to break my addiction to them...
Baby steps...
