After doing my own research for the past month or so, I finally purchased a netbook last week.

I ended up with the Acer AO751h-1279

I ended up picking this one for its 11.6 inch HD screen (1366x768) and full size keyboard. Along with a 250GB hd, 2GB RAM, and the newer ATOM z520 processor which operates at a lower voltage than the n270 on the 10 inch models.

The size is only half of a inch longer than the 10 inch Acer model, and its less than 1 inch thick.

So far, its been great. It did come with Vista loaded on it which I ended up stripping off in favor of Win XP pro.

I actually purchased the 10 inch Model Acer, and took it back the next day because of the tiny un usable (IMO) keyboard.

I think anyone looking to by a netbook should definitly give the AO751 Aspire One a second look!

Edit: FYI...I paid $398 for it at Wal-Mart if anyone cares to know.
