Laura--that was a sweet guy!

When dh and I bought our first house, my grandmother had just passed away and I really wanted a china cabinet to put the beautiful china in that she had left for me. Well, there was no way we could afford one. Dh convinced his mom to give him an antique cabinet that she used for storage, and then sold some of his much loved hockey card collection to pay for it to be restored. I knew nothing about this... he even arranged to have the cabinet delivered to the neighbours, made up a reason that I had to go over there, and there it was with a big bow and card! He is a romantic guy but not in the usual way. When he proposed to me, he created a word search for me of special places in the city we were going to vacation in, and told me when I found all the words to look for a secret message...it was "Will you marry me?" Yep, I found my keeper...
