That's the main question for me. Several years ago there was peak of charity collectors ringing on your door and asking you to donate to their cause. They were offering a ticket back as a proof the hole thing is not a fraud. So I did on several occasions only to find out that it actually was a fraud.
Since then, when I decide to donate anything I only do so with honorable organizations that have established their good name over a couple of decades.

Sometimes you can not trust but you can donate to famous charities.
I personally have a website for free donations and for example if someone visit it daily and if they click the buttons then they have to trust me. But at this point they dont give any money.
So you must donate to registered good organizations if you are giving money and leave the rest to God.
