I'm usually doing pretty good to remember to get an e-card sent out.
For birtdhay's of family members or close friends, I make sure to give them a call. To me at least, I much prefer a phone call rather than a card or even a letter because in a phone call you can interact with that person and say a whole lot more in a lot faster time than when writing a letter (even if I type it at 55 WPM, I still can talk faster.)
