Turkey carcass from Easter Sunday dinner, currently simmering in water with deglazed liquid from roasting pan and now added mostly root veggies. Barley has been cooked and ready to add when serving to give an almost stew-like consistency. It will make a meal with the addition of buttered bread. There is far to much for our family so I will take 4 servings to our elderly neighbor.
