To bad I didn't invest in the company last week. According to the paper, it was up over $4 a share this week! Sometimes investing in something local that you have had hands on experience with gives you the gut feeling (or is it women's intuition) about a place. When you go into a store three times in a row and it is dirty, helpers are scarce and uninterested in helping, and stock is messy and slim, you know this is a company on the downhill slide--not something to invest in. But if you go to a store that you have trouble finding parking because it is jammed with customers will tell you that something is being done right.
