The key is to stock up on an item when the store has a really good sale and you have a good coupon to go with it. Like this week at my local store birdseye steamfresh veggies are on sale for .86 I have about 4 coupons for .25 off that will double, so i will get them for .36 a bag. This isn't my stock up price, but under .50 is my buy price. I normally try to aim for .25 or less, preferrably free, but I am on my last bag of frozen peas, so I need to go ahead and get some so i don't run out and have to pay full price for them in a week...
