Actually, yes. My mother ran a catering service, and I've always cooked in quantity if I'm putting in long hours at work. The key is a big freezer!
My husband loves breakfast muffins, so every 3 or 4 months I make 30 dozen or more muffins. Frozen, he pulls them out every morning or for quick snacks.
I also occasionally take a weekend and just fill the freezer. It is just the two of us (couple), but time gets tight, and it's great to have it ready to go.
