I'm really glad that you feel this way, because $140k is a big deal, no matter how you swing it.
Perhaps it would also help to think of it in terms of that it's better now than, say, later. Say, perhaps 3 kids and 8 1/2 years later, for them to all of a sudden decide that they've found someone else that is the love of their life, and oh by the way, you're a terrible person that's why I had to leave you, can I keep the car, house, and full custody of the kids?
