Currently at about:

5000 Unsecured debt
---1000 in collections
9000 College loans.
---All is unsubsidized or personal college loan

*Big Sigh*

Any grand ideas?

Welcome. Lots of folks here are ready and able to give good advice. I'd suggest starting your own thread with all your details. Give the amounts of the loans and their interest rates. Tell us about income, savings, etc. and we can start picking things apart for you.
