Well, my hobbies include: borrowing books from the library, knitting or crocheting, quilting, scrapbooking, European boardgames, travel and listening to audio books/watching movies.
Well, scrapbooking costs me money because I need to develop my pictures, but it is a great social occasion for me, as is my quilting. I am making a quilt for charity right now. Reading is usually restricted to what I can get at the library or get from a thrift store. European boardgames do save me money because I always play other people's games, so it doesn't really cost me anything. I have a subscription to Audible.com and Netflix and so for about $80/month we have all of our entertainment needs met. I am asking for gift certificates to Joann.com for Christmas so I don't have to spend my own money on the hobbies. I have a huge stash of yarn that I probably spent about $300 on, but its enough yarn to last me for several years, and I haven't bought any yarn in over 6 months. Travel is pretty inexpensive because there is so much to see and do here in England, and I am a member of the National Trust and English Heritage which is free entry into all sorts of cool museums and historical sites.
