Good for you. I did this over 3 years ago. I bought a clipper at the ConAir outlet for $15. Prior to that, I was also paying $15 each time at Hair Cuttery. Since then, I haven't spent a penny, so I figure I've saved over $500 so far. Plus, my hair always looks better because I don't wait as long between cuts since it doesn't cost me anything. I've also saved a lot of time because at the salon, I would sometimes wait 30 minutes or so for my turn, plus had to drive there and back. Now, I just walk upstairs, plug in the clipper and do a quick clean-up. The whole process takes 15-20 minutes.
