Since my last visit to this site, I planted the first garden I've raised in years -peppers, tomatoes, cukes, zucchini, squash.
I only turn on the AC in mid-morning when forecasted temp goes above 85.
Continuing to hang out clothes to dry. Purchased a folding drying rack so I can even wash on rainy days.
Visited the Amish-run grocery store and purchased yeast in bulk, plus some bent-and-dent items. Made refrigerator yeast dough - had homemade rolls every nite for a week, and par-baked a couple of pizza doughs for freezer.
Trips to town have been cut back to twice a week (I work from home) and I'm using 'snail mail' and the phone more.
The most frugal thing I've done is actually writing down my goals for the next 6 months, along with action plan. Curbing spending to 'bare bones' to pay off a credit card. That credit card is in a block of ice in a Tupperware container in the deep freezer
