What I did:
Cut up stained shirts for quilt blocks and rags.
Fixed a dress with buttons I found
Fixed a skirt with material from the rag bag
turned down an offer to go out to eat (on me)
made everything homemade today food wise
used the United Project Nurse Line for free to ask about my pain from the car crash, this is free
bought a scooter that gets 100 mpg to replace the chevy nova that's dead and gets 16 mpg. (It will pay for itself in 6 months)
Also bought food in bulk, for a total of 275 dollars for 300 pounds, which will last about 2 to 3 months.
Bought a yogurt maker, a grinder, and a seed sprouter so we can have fresh yogurt, soy milk, tofu, and veggies for the cost of soy beans in bulk or lentils in bulk.
Bought tooth brushes (8 for a dollar), mouth wash (32 oz for a dollar), toothpaste (BOGO) and soap (BOGO) in bulk to lock in prices ahead of inflation. I have about 6 to 12 months worth.
Froze discount cantelope for use in my soy yogurt smoothies later.
