We've been going there for years but have never stayed over. We always just go for the day. We aren't beach people so we're happy to go down for a few hours, play in the arcade, have lunch and walk around a bit. When DD was young, we'd do the kiddie rides on the pier, but we haven't done rides for a while. We belong to the club at Coin Castle. They do special promotions throughout the year, so we go down any time. Actually, we rarely go down during the summer. You're more likely to find us down there when everything is shuttered for the season.
