We love garage sales. We never use our garage so we have reserved just for garage sales!
Tips....
Oraganize everything by items Kitchen, books, what-nots,etc.
We leave all of the tables up and just add items we want to place in the sale on it. We set the tables up in an "U" shape. Purses, clothes, etc. go into plastic boxes under the table...so all you have to do is drag it out. And place large items in the middle (take these out to put along drive way).
We usually start about 7 a.m. (CT) we get most of the flea market dealers at that time! We usually don't budge with prices (except big items) until after 12:00 p.m. We close the doors at 1:00 p.m.. Drag the plastic boxes in, leave everything on the table and shut the garage door! It is ready for the next sale.
We usually hold at least 4 sales a year! Choose either Friday or Saturday, not both! Because if you do you will sell most of your stuff on Friday and barely have anything left by Saturday.
Also don't price clothes to high. Baby clothes go better at 25 cents an item. If it is a pant and shirt set 50 cents. This also goes well for adult clothes. You will get rid of the items quicker. If you want more for them place them in a flea market or consignment shop
