If you can get a good deal, it's worth it. But I think you'll find that the winner ends up paying very close to the face value of the coupon, which makes it a waste of time. I have also seen people buy face value (or MORE!) for a coupon. That's messed up.

I was bidding on 4 Babies R Us coupons that were each 15% off. The final price was $15 with free shipping. You only have to spend $100 to make those worthwhile, and believe me, that is easy to do in Babies R Us.
EDIT: For $6 I also bought 5 Lowe's coupons worth $10 off a $25 dollar purchase. That seems like a no-brainer.
