'Jane' could be a Heston heir. I dont know anything about rich families and who's died lately specifically. When someone says the Heston family, I think of that old hollywood cowboy actor (charlton heston?) though I doubt you are referring to that guy, cuz actors dont make that kind of money.
I thought it was a clue that the woman said she has been broke before, implying there is drama going on in the family and she has previously been cut off.
