My fiance and his whole family hate her because back in the day she was broke but acting like a millionaire. My fiances family lives in NY, and the father works in the financial industry. Once he saw the way she was living and the way she was acting, he was disgusted. They have never given her a second chance and just rant about her show.
But they dont know that she admits to that, and uses it as an example when she gets into the psychology of money. Oh well. I have to either go watch suze in the bedroom, or catch it when I can.
I do think there is a correlation between my fiances lack of interest and participation in our finances and his low tolerance for suze. He just finds it boring, and thinks its all "you earn a dollar, you spend a dollar, dont spend more than you earn" talk.
I on the other hand am totally fascinated by all the options there is for your money, and all the different outcomes of those options. And I love the psychology behind the spending habits.
