Congrats on bringing one home!
My social life is similar except minus the former heavy drinking..and not so family friendly events accompanying it..which is prolly a good thing

. That and more friends come here rather than meeting out..that way I can put my kids to sleep and continue to have fun, when you are out your kid is often up (as a toddler and older). Which you will pay for in the morning.
As to what to do with a kid free night..sleep

and before the sleep..enjoy the kid free bedroom. last chance for not having to lock the door (or using the living room/kitchen, whatever), and not having a baby monitor or one ear open for the possible interruption. That would be my plan if I had a kid free night.
