Default Any high interest CD's?

I really appreciate the advice you all gave me in my previous post. Thank you! I purchased a lot of those books for dirt cheap on amazon and am about to start cracking them open.

I'm still a little scared to get my feet wet in mutual funds and EFTs (whatever those are... y'all keep talking about them...haha). So in the mean time I opened a savings account at igobanking (3.23) and one at washington mutual (3.25) after reading through that sticky for a while. It got me curious as to whether there are some high-yield CD's that are 6, 9, or 12 month maturities and are beating the savings rates. I didn't see any posts on CD's so I thought I'd start one. Any suggestions? Stay away from them?
