From the study:
Obese: BMI of 36-39
Morbidly obese: BMI of 40-49
Super obese: BMI of 50 or above
By definition, obese is a BMI of 30 or above, but in the study, it was at least 36 because, I assume, that's who underwent the surgery. Folks with a BMI of 30 weren't being operated on.
