cicy33, surely you are not alone. Many, many households are in the same circumstances. Others were at one time and worked their way out, as you are doing now. And others were never really struggling but can still relate to some extent. If anything, I think you are the norm more than the exception. Sometimes that gets lost around here because this board is populated with folks who are the success stories, saving, investing, living below their means, etc. So don't despair. It sounds like you are well on your way to financial security. Just keep at it.
